Our CEO took me to his "secret cigar club" last week to savor some of his private stash cigars and a glass or two of Bowmore. In contrast with highland whiskeys, this one is made near the sea. I really liked the salty taste that lingered on with a hint of smoky seaweed. Just bought a bottle on my way back from Taiwan and am now enjoying it with a nice Cubana. Aah, life can be good! I also bought a bottle of The Yamasaki, a Japanese whiskey that has a light but still quite complex taste. You need to drink this before the Bowmore because otherwise the subtleties are lost.
