Bowl Lathering Brush

Ok guys I need some help. My brush collection at the given time is pretty measly as you can see.

My birthday is coming up and I usually get cash from relatives since they don't know what to get me. Being that I have been bowl lathering a lot recently I figured that I would use that money to get me a good brush. I want something that has a nice long handle so I don't bash my hands against my scuttle edges. I would like something from a "brand name" manufacturer. I really like the polo 12 in 2 band but 200 bucks is out of my reach. Please try to keep the suggestions around $130 and down.

I think you're just a little under the price of a Kent BK8 if you buy it from England. That's the finest bowl lathering brush I know.

+3 for the Kent BK8 (or BLK8 like mine, Ebony).

It's one of my rotation brushes and is always a joy to use and is actually in rotation right now and I've been bowl lathering it.

It's like no other brush, but in a good way. For $120 or so shipped, from the UK, it gets my vote.

Another vote for the BK8 but it comes with a caveat. Only get it if you only plan to bowl lather. Once I got into face lathering I stopped using my BK8. The problem for me was that a good face Lathering brush was also good in a bowl. And although you can face lather with a BK8 it's not as good as other brushes for it.

So if you only plan to bowl lather the Bk8 is THE brush.

funny, i enjoy mine for face lathering as much or more then bowl lathering. it picks up soap no problem, and is a joy to use. circular motion to apply, then finish with paint/slapping strokes.

i face lather with it regularly and have no issues

looks like the BK8 is taking a commanding lead...actually, i haven't seen any other $120 suggestions.
