Bought a watch (pic) is it allowed at B&B?

Here is what I got tonight for less than $14.00 shipped which is what I can swing these days. Battery operated and Helbros from what little I can find is a low to middle level watch. I was really hoping someone here could help me with a rough idea as to age. It somehow looks 1960's to me with the date of month window. I know little about watches, believe me. I just thought it looked cool and is said to run accurately and for the money involved... hey, it is the same as a few cups of coffee these days.

Also, what is the deal with the face of the watch - I presume it tracks the days of the month as they change?

Any and all info as well as educated guesses and wild speculation is welcome - HELP!

It's a Helbros Quartz circa 1992. The date wheel shows the date as it lines up with the day of the week. There's one on eBay right now for around $50. Nice watch!

I have about as much knowledge as you where watches are concerned. But it does look nice! And if, as you say, it runs accurately, a great buy!
