Bottom Dial Steal?

Wow, that's probably about $800-$1000 less than if the seller would have run an auction.

You don't see those with cases very often.

I've never seen one with a case before, let alone both razor and case in excellent condition. A good deal indeed!

The seller cancelled bids on the original listing and ended it. She had two bidders at the time.
A bid for 9.99 and a bid for 88.88.
You have to place a serious bid if you want the seller to notice the size of their error.

So somebody contacted her and 'made an offer she couldn't refuse?' Hmmm ...

It's up to the seller to do their due diligence, when selling an item. I don't fault someone from low balling a bid. There's a very popular show, on TV, in which someone lives on low ball bids. ( Pawn Stars )

This kind of deal happens everyday, with every kind of item imaginable.

I suppose it is better than the alternative....

"what about this old razor?"

"Oh that old thing, just toss it in the trash and come take a look at these National Geographic magazines I found"

That handle, minus the bottom dial, is strikingly similar to a black handle Flair Tip. Is it aluminum or steel? Just curious. Really good price, btw.

they had a bid, cancelled it on them and then offered it to whoever made them a $200 offer.

I hope the razor arrives at it's destination in 20 pieces....serves both of them right.

An auction is an auction, it had a bid, and should have played out.

It is one thing if there are NO bids, but there was. The seller should be obligated to keep it listed.

Guys can you educate me on fat boys a bit? How many of these were made? I have seen them at $600.00 and I can't get why anyone would pay that much, I mean what you display it to friends on your coffee table? I collect a lot of razors and understand collecting but this is hard to get around. I have a perfect fatboy in a case with instructions and one I use but this one wow. Also is there one with a red dot or something in the middle that is rare? Please give me a quick run down on the rare fatboys to keep an eye out for. Thanks
