What's new

Boston

Hello everyone

My brother is in the US nowdays, and I would like to take advantage of the situation.

I will tell him to bring back to Greece some shaving creams. Id like to spend abt 30-40 dollars in good quality but not so expensive creams

Any recommendations? Any guys from Boston here? He leaves in Allston
Boston MA

thanks

If he is in Allston, then he is not too far from Colonial Drug and Leavitt and Pearce, both in Harvard Square in Cambridge...Both have great and extensive selections of wet shaving products-

:thumbup1: Colonial is a great choice as they have superb quality shaving creams like Cella, Castle Forbes, the entire Truefitt & Hill line, Plisson, Taylors . Pretty much everything except Proraso and Musgo Real, but if you go to Leavitt & Pierce they carry the Musgo.

Thank you so much for your answers.

What abt the center of Boston? anything good there?

My bro doesnt have a car, he uses public transport

There is a really convenient bus that goes from Allston to Harvard Square, takes about 20-30 minutes (I used to live in Allston and work in Harvard Square, and took that bus every day). Downtown the only place I know of is Art of Shaving in Copley Plaza-

That's really it for Cambridge.

This is now utterly irrelevant, but I just wanted to note, having found this thread somewhat by accident, that your avatar guy, Al Bundy, is one of my television heroes!

I will be visiting this location this Saturday. Can't wait to see the selection. Time to empty out the pockets!

The cool thing about about going to Colonial Drug is that unlike the internet, you can pick the product up and give it a smell. Leavitt and Pearce, which has a great selection, keeps it product under glass cases.

That is a plus. I wonder if they sell specialty imports like mdc. I would like to smell all the razorock line as well.
