Boot-less in Texas

Thanks to Chris and Rob Russell for the plug.

Just let me add that I currently do not make boots for a living. On weekends and free time I appentice for a local custom bootmaker. I do not yet own the shop or equipment. I have worked out of his shop for 6+ years and have built several pair of boots for myself and my wife. I have worked on hundreds of pairs that have shipped all over the world including England, Austrailia, and Japan.

Not to sound arrogant but i am quite knowledgable about the art of handmade boots, how they are made, and the material they are made of. I will be more than happy to give advise or answer questions about hand-made cowboys boots, but currently I am not selling boots for the bootmaker that I work for. He has a back-log of at least 1 year and his reputation sells his boots. When it gets to the point that the customers cannot tell the difference between his boots and my boots will I start my career as a bootmaker.
