What's new

Book suggestions please.

Maybe I misunderstood your last sentence, but there are no more books to be released. A Memory of Light was the last one. For those who don't know, the books were written over a 23 year period in which the author died and the last three were completed by Brandon Sanderson (whom I mentioned in my other post).

I spent a large portion of my life reading these books. Wow.
You are correct, I should have phrased the last part better.

I am wanting to read a new book or series. I enjoy many different genres but right now am looking for something like a few series of Dean Koontz and Stephen King. I really enjoy the Odd Thomas series and the Frankenstein series from Koontz, and most of what i have read by King I quite enjoyed. I would like more books like these if you can suggest something great to read.
If you like detective novels Michael Connelys Harry Bosch series is for you. Connely is the new Ramond Chandler

If you like stories with a bit of the strange and mysterious, you might try "The Haunted Mesa" by Louis L'Amour. It's set in the modern-day 4 corners area, and it's not a western.

Larry Correia's Monster Hunter International series is my latest fiction favorite.
Monsters of course, action, romance, and for you shooters it reads like gun porn.

The Foundation Trilogy by Isaac Asimov. Personally I loved it, I devoured it and the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (full set 5-6 books) between 8th/9th grade. At the moment I'm hooked on the Wayward Pines TV show, thus I'm likely to start the series its based on soon.
