Bomber hat

Hey, I am looking for a warm winter hat and the hat like this really attracted me. It just looks great!
What do you think about it, is it warm enough?

I would not like to spend more than 20$ as the international shipping is not cheap. Maybe you guys know some good deals, clearance etc?
Write me some online store links where I can find these hats.

I think that bomber hats look totally goofy on everybody. Unless you are wearing hunter orange or a lot of plaid and spend your day in the woods it will probably look goofy on you. Outside of hunting or logging it will probably look goofy. Cute for kids though. That said, I have a couple and don't care if I look goofy. Do I wear them often, no! But when I need to be really warm for extended periods of time I don't hesitate.

Loggers don't wear them where I'm from because they make you look like Goofy.

I don't really care If I look goofy or not (does the word goofy means stupid?)
I think this hat looks absolutely great, don't know why.. I don't wear any hat at all and don't like them much, but it's the best looking hat for cold winter

Not sure about that hat but you may want to look into a "Ushanka" also.

Google it. They're military hats from the old Soviet regime. Many Army surplus type stores have them and they aren't too expensive.

They are NOT about looking good. They are about staying warm. I have one, I can't wear it if it is above 0 F or I sweat if doing anything at all. Don't buy a cheap one, get one with real rabbit fur or lambskin lining, definitely worth the warmth, and they are only $30 or so..

I think they look good, but if you're particularly style-conscience, I suppose you could tie the earflaps up.

I've lived in places where the average winter temperature is 5 degrees Farenheit and no....just no. .

Like I said, I don't dig them from a fashion standpoint but for warmth/comfort they are hard to beat!

What brands I should look? Found "Mad Bomber" and "Norko", but they go for about 50$. Have you seen some good deals or Christmas clearance? P.S. I don't mind buying used, if someone has good condition hat FS.

I think they look weird. But function overrides fashion in freezing weather. I can look good when I take the hat off indoors.

What do the Russians wear? It gets pretty cold there. Maybe copying the Eskimos is more fashion forward.

I now have one, and it is awesome. It's a more unique style hat that the fashion world probably would never adopt, but who cares? It comes down to two things. Would you rather stay warm or would you rather get frostbite on your ears? Personally, I love the look of the hat. Mine is red and black plaid with a rabbit fur lining from Norko. You have to commit to this kind of hat. Wear it like your digested byproduct doesn't stink and people won't think it's ugly.
