I agree, sir. When you mentioned that one the other day I revisited it. A Dylan powerhouse! And how could Series of Dreams not be included in Oh Mercy?

Lanois and Dylan clashed over Standing in the Doorway as well, right? Lanois wasn't crazy over Dylan's arrangement if I remember correctly and wanted more of a Sad Eyed Lady of the Lowlands approach. I like the final result. And how could Series of Dreams not be included in Oh Mercy?
I think Joan B said it best: "Well I'll be damned, here comes your ghost again. That's not unusual, just that the moon is full."I will say this about Dylan's music. His work has seen me through some good and bad times. I guess listening to Dylan is like a dear friend coming by for a visit. It just makes life better for me.
Great choice, Kim. One of my favorites in that series.I'm listening to Tell Tale Signs for the first time this morning. Bootleg Series #8.
It's quite nice.

The 3 CD box set is out of print... boo hiss
Thx for the link... I just ordered the 2 CD set... I'll have to be satisfied with that for the moment. I found a few like yours.... pretty pricey... I'm going to pay close attention to the third CD while streaming the Deluxe version... to see if it would be worth it in the future or just stick with streaming.83.00 GBP: * Bob Dylan Rare 3 CD Deluxe Edition "Tell Tale Signs" Box Set *

I was just looking at the track list. I have the condensed version myself.
Yes, this one is also very good, agree 100%I really enjoy this one as well.
*Correction* not essential, sorry.I forgot that I had the Biograph box set. I probably purchased that one at Tower Records in the late '90s. As pretty much everything on it appears elsewhere I wouldn't say it's essential unless you're a completist.
