Bluebird razor blades

HAS anyone ever used BLUEBIRD razor blades and if you do, just how good are they.

I have read some good reviews about them and I am thinking of ordering some.

Right now I am using ASTRA SP.

Needs milk and a bidet!
i've used them and found them to be excellent. not talked about enough around here. but as always...YMMV. i say order them and try em out. the good thing about B&B is you can always do a PIF or sell/trade on the BST.

I like them. I don't seem to use them very often, but when I do I'm alway impressed with them. For me they seem to work best in my Long Comb New.

They're in my just OK category. Decent enough but you can find many better blades, especially considering the price point.

There are better choices. Certainly, they are not as good as Astra SP.

Go to bestshave.net and try either Rapiras or Permasharps. Two great blades at good prices.

Rapira's are excellent blades at a great price IMO. Bluebird's were just middle of the road.

+1 Good but not great, and at $18/100 shipped [Amazon] they're a bit pricey for what you get.

+1 on the Rapiras. Haven't tried Permasharps.

I call them the Bluebirds of Unhappiness.
They are rought in every razor I use.

There are better blades for the price.

The only blade I've ever thrown away after a mere few strokes. I pulled it down my cheek and ended up getting several small weepers in very small area. I virtually never get weepers, and when I do it's only one, and never on my cheeks. When I look closely after using the Bluebird it almost looked like I had shaved with a microscopically serated blade. I didn't haul out a magnifying glass to take a closer look at the blade. Just pitched it and have never gone back to that pack of Bluebirds.
