Just got a mail about it's Scimitar DE razor.

Looks like a DE89L with a bit of fancy etching on the head - not sure if it's worth a 50% increase on the DE89L's price

Looks amusing, but I think the novelty would wear off pretty quickly.

Yup it looks like the DE 89 without the lined groves in the handle. It says that it is made in Germany so it could be a Muhle re-branded razor for bluebeard.
