BLUE - GOLD Special

Picked this up today at an antique shop for retail. Looks like NOS except for the blade bank. It's nickel, but I'm thinking it should be gold plated. Is that right?

Right, if you read the inner box lid, it was a pack of 10 blue blades. Nice upgrade!

I've got other nice short comb NEWs to use - including my favorite one replated in nickel. I'll be leaving this one in the condition found.

I've been to every antique and pawn shop in my county and have found nothing. Very disappointing.

I've been to this particular shop many times in the past and 99% of the time, walked out with nothing more then a peaceful, quiet time of looking at junk. But I grew up walking beaches looking for interesting stuff. Kind of similar activity (I'd rather be on a beach though).
