Barney's in NYC has a good niche selection, also. It's kind of deceptive because the fragrance area is small, bu they have a lot packed in there.
Barney's likes to be on the edge...and they do a very good job of carrying lots of great niche for sure. It varies from store to store I would think. I have pieced together that the high end niche companies strike different deals in different cities. Here in Bev Hills, Barney's sits in a row with Saks and Nieman. They each seem to have exclusive rights to certain scent lines.

They are closing the dallas store. Major bummer.
Can you tell us more about it?
If you do downstairs at Barney's in NYC, below the cologne selection on the first floor, they have a lot more stuff that is rypically considered unisex. iE Malle, Labo, Diptyque etc.
I've found Barney's SAs to be very generous with samples, making them on the spot. No doubt helps if they know you are buying, or have bought from them.
So, not the fragrance counter right off the men's department? They had a lot of those brands, plus stuff like Serge Lutens, when I was in there a few months ago.
I have only bought two fragrances there over the past 17 years, and I can't even remember what one of them was, but I get the sense that the SAs there are pretty knowledgeable and make pretty good suggestions.

The only Nasamatto I've tried is Absinthe and it was fantastic.
