Blades without glue bumps

I was trying find a list of blades that don't have wax dots or are double wrapped so the lade it self has no glue on it

Yeah the persona where the only ones I could think of. Thank you for the link I will check that out

is it a problem?

If ..... i were to find a blade i like with wax dots/glue, i would simply take an old blade, rub both cutting edges on the concrete, then use the end to scrape the dots off the new blades.

but knowing myself i would make a more elaborate de-dotter

The glue dots aren't really a problem I usually just wipe them off with my fingers, but I've been using the super slant and wonder bar lately and the tolerances are so small on those razors even after wiping the dots the little bit of residue left makes the top cap and base plate hard to separate. Plus I want to sock up on more blades so I figured I'd grab a few hundred of some with out glue dots that I haven't tryed or had in a while

Chinese KCG - no glue

Lord Super Chrome - different glue (brittle, not gummy) that stays on the wrapper. Blade pops off clean.

My Silver Star have glue.

Hmm, I checked the Silver Stars and the Racers (they are both packaged about the same).

There is one tiny spot of gel, maybe the size of a pinhead, on one side of each blade. I didn't even notice this before since it's so small. It's not even close to the Gillette blades with big globs of gel in four places! I'd be really surprised if it was enough gel to cause any problems with loading a blade into a razor.
