blade case

Where can you buy those little metal cases for holding a pack of blades? I have seen them pictured on old cased sets.

Apart from vintage, are there are any present day companies that manufacture them?

The vintage ones are the best but an Altoids Smalls tin works pretty well too.

although the Altoids tin meet the function I find the traditional ones to be a very classy accessory

The vintage cases are nice, but lots of modern blades don't fit well in them because the wrapper is a little wider than what was used on blades back in the day. It's not the blade that's different, just the outer wrapper.
