I have generally used heavier razors and would have thought that 44 g would be too light for me as well. But then I fell in love with the Carbon Ti/Carbon Fibre handle. Loaded with the Ti head, it's about 35 g. Ironically, it and the Rocnel Razor (~135 g.) are my two primary razors.

Wow…35g?! The Vector’s gonna seem like a heavyweight

Hey Kenny if you give it enough time, there are some neat tricks you can learn with the single edge that don't work really well with a DE. For example, twisting the handle to find the contour without moving left or right. I can make 3 swipes without moving my hand. Also, the single rigid edge allows you to really use the corner like a straight once you have enough confidence. I am comfortable enough doing a cross pass on my upper lip under my mustache!

Funny, I just figured out that technique on my third use of the Vector- kinda right, center, left on each pass.
