Blackland Vector and Feather Pro Light blade

Received my Blackland vector a few weeks ago and have been shaving regularly with it, experimenting with a collection of various blades I purchased from Tryablade. All is good. Shaves have been wonderful. Love the razor.

Today I needed an new blade and I pulled out one of the Feather Pro Light blades that I had purchased. First time I've tried this blade. Disassembled the razor and went to put the blade in and it doesn't fit. The center slot in the blade that goes over the screw post on the cap is to small to fit on the post. It simply would not slide down over the post at all. Has anyone else experienced this with the Feather Pro Lights and a Vector or any other razor for that matter? I found it very odd.

Pulled out a Feather Pro Super, put it in the razor with no problem, and had another great shave.

The feather light blade is the only blade that I know of that has a different hole pattern. They don't fit any of the AC safety razors, they only fit the AC shavettes.

I’m glad you’re enjoying the Vector! Rabidus is correct. The Pro Lights are not compatible with the Vector or other SEs. A comprehensive list of Vector-compatible blades can be found here: Vector — Blackland
