Black Raven Straight Razor?

While browsing my local antique shop today I came across a straight razor labeled " Black Raven ". It came with the original box which also carried the same name and was labeled "Black Raven" on the blade and on the scales. The style of the scales and writing on them was exactly like you'd see on a Dubl Duck, like a goldedge for example (gold cursive). Also to add further description I'd say the scales were also very similar to what you'd see on a Dubl Duck Lifetime "Grim Reaper" minus the grim reaper. Basically when I saw this straight razor I thought it was a Dubl Duck until I looked at it closer. Does anyone have any ideas as to the possible maker/history of this razor? Could it be some sort of limited edition? It had a German maker (I believe it started with an H) and was labeled under that with NY. I've searched online and so far came across nothing, I want to buy it but am concerned with not knowing what exactly it is. Any help is appreciated...

it could be a razor produced for a company in the US, NY sounds like it was for a certain group of stores in the city

Speculation here, would be able to sort out things better if you return with pictures/more detail of the maker rather then "I think it starts with H"

So yeah, if it's in decent nick and the price is right, Go right ahead and purchase it.

I may go pick it up tomorrow, I'm not sure yet. I've found no information on this straight razor anywhere online. I suppose that could be a good or bad thing. Down to the bones I guess it's probably a $40 dollar gamble if I want to take it...
