Black Handled Super Speed Disassembly

As requested by Buffalo, I have completed the disassembly video of the Gillette Black Handled SS. Enjoy!

How many, if any, have you broken? Any trial and error curve here? I only have one of each. And I have already ruined a pristine E1 flare tip with only scrubbing bubbles. Didn't need more than hot soap and water!! I'm still bitter. If I broke a fat boy I would be furious.

The only razor I have ever damaged during a disassembly is a Wizamet 11, given to me by golenia_pl. I've never harmed any Gillettes however. This is largely due to the information that has been provided to the community long before I joined.

One of my super speeds is bent. I think it's the t-bar, but I'm not sure what the best way to bend it back would be. Here are some pictures of it. $ImageUploadedByTapatalk1412120075.717626.jpg$ImageUploadedByTapatalk1412120084.434586.jpg$ImageUploadedByTapatalk1412120097.466700.jpg

Alright, it does look look like the T-bar is bent, like you mention. When I look for bent t-bars, I don't look at the top or the blade gap itself, I look below the safety bars and you can see that the rounded part of the hinge is sticking down far more on one side than the other. I edited one of your photos to illustrate this:

If you can interpret my hideous illustrations, you can bend it back down by using your hands with a little quality elbow grease. Just press down on the highlighted areas simultaneously. It might take a few moderate presses to get it realigned. Some of the TTO's that I work on require slight tweaks and all it takes is a little thumb pressure. Does the safety bar piece move at all? It doesn't appear to be bent so I will guess not, just a thought.

Here's a flare tip SS that I worked on. This SS was given to me by Rasputin and he has asked me to start a PIF with it. It will begin shortly. Here are the before photos of the flare tip:
