You are correct!F4 is late 1960 unless I'm wrong.
Cap you're amazing. Is there nothing you can't disassemble? I've got an old Ford that could use some work. LOL
Is this Ford an open comb? TTO? I need details man!!Cap you're amazing. Is there nothing you can't disassemble? I've got an old Ford that could use some work. LOL
You are welcome, Sir!Another excellent tutorial!! Thanks, Cap.
Well, leaving the c clip out really wasn't an advisable move, just something I would do if I used a SS on a daily basis. Some of the SSs have little ears on the T bar that flare out and prevent the door rod from coming completely out so I suppose you could flare them back out but it's kinda tricky.Hey Cap, I have a question. On my 1960 Flairtip, that little ring that holds the TTO bar in... I followed the advise on the video and left it off. Partially because I couldn't get it back on, what would be the way to put it back on there? None of my needle nose pliers are long enough and I gave up.
Yeah, that was my whole reasoning behind leaving it out. Besides, easy access right?I'll try that. I haven't seen a need for it because I don't open the doors so far out that that would go past the head and go unengaged.
As far as I know, he is going to re enamel the handle for this Gentleman and do the other parts in bright nickel. The neck that attaches to the head is also aluminum so that might be a little tricky. Only time will tell!Captain; I'm curious about how Chris will do the black handle SS because the handle (only) is aluminum.
