Black Eucris Bottle and Light?

I just bought a bottle of GFT Eucris Edt and I was wondering if since the bottle is powder-coated black if it would be safe for me to store the bottle out in the open on my dresser exposed to light? Or am I risking it?

I'm not sure what you'd be risking since the bottle is opaque.

It would be better protected against direct light (much like why beer in brown bottles is less vulnerable to being lightstruck), but be careful of heat if it's in direct sunlight.
I'd assume a black bottle would pick up and retain heat better, so all the protection against light is useless if the juice is just going to simmer away.

have never had a problem storing my Eucris on the countertop - has been open over 2 years and no deterioration in scent - that is it still smells amazing!
