There is no numbers on it. It’s on the way to my mailbox. I think it will be great in my collection.
Any information would be great please.
It's a very fine looking razor. The scales and the engraving looks "modern" to me which means post 1930. The "Made in Germany" does however tell me that it's made no later than 1949 when Germany offically ceased to exist until 1989. Razors made between 1945 and 1949 might not have Germany stamped on them. All this ranting means that it might have been made during the 1930's.
Once again thank you sir.
Please call me Arne or The Grumpy Old Bastard, pick the one you prefer
Bismarks made in the era yours was made are great shavers.I have a twin to the one you own .I will bring it out next week .I honed mine up to 16 K on Sharpton glass .Than finished her on a J-Nat .
The Bismarck is one of my very best shavers. I real love affair with that one!
Not a problem. Sir is coming from the military and respect.
Thank you, Arne.
I left the infantry at the end of the cold war hoping for peace in our time, but I guess I was as naive as Chamberlain once was.
I concur with Arne’s(grumpy old polar bear’s) deductions as they are as sound as my own.
