Birthday Accuisition (Identity not sure)

Hey everyone, just wanted to share photos of a part of my birthday gift. Not sure if I'm on the mark w/ the second one.
1958 -3rd quarter fatboy belonged to my grandfather. The dish contains a puck of Old Spice soap.

Single ring old style? 588896 on barrel (also grandfathers, possibly his fathers) Clarification on this one would be appreciated. No other markings are visible.

Yup, that's a Sheraton case. Does the Single Ring have the American patent date on one of the smooth bands on the handle (PAT NOV 15, '04)? If so then it's a perfectly normal 1906 Single Ring. It's absolutely normal for the early ones to have nothing but the patent date and serial number. Other stampings didn't come till later.

Also, the first one actually looks to be an Executive rather than the standard Fatboy. The gold plating's the big give-away, but also the different knurling pattern on the handle.

The patent date on the single ring is Nov. 15, '04 as mentioned, and yes the Fatboy would be the Executive. Thanks for identifying the case, perhaps the razor is hidden away somewhere yet to be found.

I had a shave with the Fatboy used a Gillette 7 O'clock SP and got a DFS. Grandpa new a thing or two, I only wish he was still around to share my thoughts with.

The sheraton case is one of those oddities among razors. There actually seem to be more of them around than the razors. It makes me wonder if they all originally had sheratons in them.
