Your date code would be P4 and the Super Adjustable (Black Beauty) was being made at that time.
Super 84 and Super 109. I have 2 Super 109s NOS in boxes waiting for my boys but I’ve never shaved with them to offer an opinion . I have shaved with my just recently opened 1973 T3 Super 84 though. Wasn’t expecting it to be my best adjustable but for me, it beats out my Fatboy, Slim, Variant and Rex.
I the good news is, 1970 Supers are plentiful and easy to find in good shape. I too prefer the Super 84 to my Fatboys and Slims. I also like the black handle Super Speeds.
The great news is NEWs are readily available at affordable proces.
