Although the wood isn't my cup of tea you did an excellent job on the shape, fit and finish. I really like the inset coin too.
I like the handle shape.
Really nice job. Quality of finish looks better than a lot of the people who make and sell brushes every day. You did a great job.
Nice, although I don't know where the birch colored wood comes in.
It's the light, undyed wood color

Looks like cherry to me.
