Big differences in synthetics?

Bought some more Yaqi brushes on the 11.11 sale and this one arrived today. Artic Sky 24 mm knot, soft as it looks with some back bone, more a painter I'm thinking. Will test it tomorrow.

Are your Muhle STFs v1 or v2?

I have one XL & L version 1 .
The rest are version 2.

Whatever the Simpson T3 Sovereign fiber is, it's different! Holds just a ton of water. Really does remind of badger in that respect.
