Best vs pure badger

So, I read some good reviews about Crabtree and Evelyn's Edwin Jagger Best Badger brush, and I decided to go out and get one. When I got home and looked at the brush's handle, it said "Pure Badger" on the side. Is this any different from the "Best badger"? Does the pure perform as well as the best badger?
