Best type of brush

Hi guys

My soap of choice is tabac and I temd to lather on the face than in a bowl etc. Is there a type (or make) of brush that would be best for this type of lathering and soap?

Horse brush, made of tail hair, like the Turkish ones, or the mixed horse/boar Vie-long. Otherwise a boar.

I would suggest a good boar such as a Semogue 1305 or SOC. They are inexpensive compared to any reasonable badger. They work wonderfully with Tabac. Break-in will take about a month but will give you a brush that will be hard to beat at any price. I use them every day while my badgers collect dust.

Whats your budget? If you're asking for the "best brush" I'd get a badger for sure.

@ the Baron, I have an EJ fine Badger but vie heard that a stiffer Boar might be better. Budget under $20 (£15)

Yep. The best brushes aren't under £15.

The best that ARE are the medium sized Omega boars. I'd recommend the 10005.
