Best source of Injector blades in DFW?

I found a Type G with the turquoise handle at an antique shop last Saturday for only $5. So, of course it came home with me. I've seen several mentions of guys finding blades at CVS or Walgreens. I've hit several in Coppell and Grapevine, and even up in McKinney last night, but no dice. Can someone hook a brother up on where to get some blades so I can take this thing for a test drive, or must I go to Amazon??:001_rolle

It is hard to find injector blades at bricks and sticks retail places any more- certainly in DFW. Try 20 count stainless ASR Personnas w/ PTFE from Ted Pella: http://www.tedpella.com/dissect_html/dissect.htm#_121_4. For some reason they seem a little more "fiddly" to load as compared to Schick brand, but shave nicely and last as good as any. They work great in newer and older Schick razors as well as PAL's and Personna's. YMMV. Never used injectors the first time around before TRAC II's/ ATRA's and water only shower shaves took me off the traditional DE/ wet shaving path. So, discovering injectors for the first time at age 61 was a real revelation (came from an unspoken heritage of Gillette's only without ever realizing it).

Forgive off topic, but still on SE blades of any type: TP is also a good place for Personna single edge stainless blades w/PTFE (or carbon steel, if you prefer). Stainless may not be quite as sharp as the better quality carbon steel blades, but less hassle factor with drying and/or oiling with mineral oil to slow rusting enough to get best possible edge life. These + Gem Damaskeene razors are also pretty amazing shavers and put most "vanilla" DE's to shame on getting a full blown BBS shave with less passes. Even then, I usually use injectors for touch-ups, buffing and touchy spots in the upper-lip/nose area. Once again, YMMV. I am having to learn/ re-learn a lot of things I should have already known... better late than never.
