Best Shaving Soap Container?

My vote for the best shaving soap container (besides shave sticks that is), is Mike's in a tin case. Don't know if Mike did it on purpose, but I love the tin. Nice and wide for brush loading.

My vote for least favorite container is Cella in the red tub. I love cella, but the red tub is way too small. I've switched to cella in the brick version and have abandoned the red tub altogether.

Anyone else have a favorite and least favorite container?

I'm partial to the OLD style RazoRock artisan tubs. Perfect for making a sloppy loading mess!

Least favorite nominee: Haslinger. Ok for traveling but absolutely worthless for loading.

My favorites are the MWF ceramic as well as the I Coloniali terracotta bowl. My least favorite one is probably a wooden which isn't water proof and is slowly deteriorating.

My favorites are the MWF ceramic as well as the I Coloniali terracotta bowl.

See, I would really like the MWF ceramic bowl if the soap puck fit tightly in there. There seems to be too much play. The soap swishes around sometime and lather gets trapped in there.

I have them in everything from wood bowls, to Pyrex to empty TOBS cream tubs. Least favorite are the Old Spice mug and small PdP tin. One of my favorites is the $1 bowl from Walmart. A perfect size for loading soaps.

The tins are nice. I travel with MWF in one of the screw lid tins.

Also travel with Cella in a LockUPs plastic screw lid container which is DA bomb as it does not dent like the tin does.

For the shave den, wooden bowls with the soap label on them is the ONLY way to go and the original plastic tubs for the creams. I can't remember what is in unmarked containers and I am always sniffing and guessing what is in them

I like the glass Pyrex bowls. They hold just about any soap and I can buy the less expensive refill or puck without a custom made container.

I'm partial to the plastic tubs with screw lids that Mama Bear and Honey Bee Spa use. Fits in the hand, doesn't break when dropped, Doesn't scuff my Ever-Ready brushes, easy for travel.

Favorite: Old Spice mug - the shallow kind. I also like the red tub that Cella comes in.

Don't really have a least favorite since if I don't like it, I don't acquire it to begin with.

An inexpensive choice is the Ziploc screw top plastic containers, and I think Glad makes a similarly sized one. They're about 8-10oz and just the right width for a soap puck and for swirling a brush around. They're not real pretty, but they work well. They stack nicely and don't shatter if you drop them.

I'll throw in another vote for the MWF ceramic container.

Least favorite is the Proraso tub. Probably fine if you have small brushes, but annoying for me.
