Best shavette for a beginner?

I bought one off Amazon a few weeks back and after 3 shaves I liked it so much I bought an Irving. You are welcome to have my original one if you like, I can send it with some blades

Many thanks for the offer but my father has a never used straight i think i’m going to try out first. Based on the recommendations from this thread, the feather is the hands down winner but i don’t want to drop that kind of $ unless i like the straight/shavette shave a lot. So i’m going to test the waters with the straight and if i like it i’ll go with the feather. Perhaps even stick with the straight if i like it enough.
