I've never had an issue with proraso or palmolive before. I'm anxious to try the new proraso lime once I work through the creams I have at home.

AoS Lemon, T&H Apsley, Trumper's GFT, CF Lime, CC 45th Parallel, & Stone Cottage Hesperide.
I don't think there are any easier or better creams than any of the AoS products.

The only cream I've run into that I thought didn't do a good job at lathering or skin protection during the shave was Cremo. I couldn't get it to work for me.

Cremo is a brushless cream. Some guys report having luck lathering it, but that's not the intended use.
Any TOBS cream is easy to lather; just select your fragrance.

I use Proraso and TOBS creams, and I can't help but notice how quickly TOBS Sandalwood springs to a rich lather (using a bowl).

My favorite is La Toja, great lather and fresh soapy scent. It's inexpensive as well!

Trumper Coconut makes ridiculous cake-frosting lather.
Proraso, TOBS, AoS, and T&H all make excellent creams.
Classic English ones: Harris and 3Ts.
