The only modern OC I've used it the Razorock Game Changer JAWS. If I ever lose or break it, I'll try another one, but am not looking because it works. For me anyway.
Karve, in brass. Especially if I ever find a way to lighten the handle. Is brass plated titanium a thing?

Fatip Grande, Piccolo, Lo Storto Originale (modern?)

I should up and buy something OC from Blackland, I like their attitude. I admire Timeless, but the razors look too big for my taste.
There are plenty of low production artisans out there, but they haven’t captured my wallet yet.

The first-generation ikon deluxe oc was the best. Sadly, it is no longer in production.
The best modern open comb is a vintage.
I ran the Gillette RFB (#77 set) against a Wolfman WR1 0.80 OC
and the RFB blew it away in terms of both smoothness and efficiency.

I hear that! I've been culling the herd a little, getting rid of the ones that don't please me all that much.

Homelike Taiga OC plate opened wide followed closely by any gap Wolfman OC and Timeless .95 OC. The vintage Gillette RFB, Gillette New long & short comb are also superb.
