Best link to introduce DE shaving?

I have a couple email friends I'd like to introduce to DE shaving. I don't want to try to evangelize, just give a link to a good article or something of that nature. I'm thinking of something fairly brief, informative and enticing, but not overwhelming. B&B is a great resource, but I think it might be overload for the unititiated.

Any suggestisons?

I would agree with the above, send them a link to one of Mantic's introductory videos, it's more exciting to watch a video, then read an article anyway. :thumbup1::thumbup1:

Of course B&B is a great place to learn what you need to know and to socialize with other like minded folks, but for something that sums it up and brings it all together in a single place, The Art of Manliness "Learn how to shave like your Grandpa" is one of the best.

That article is what brougfht me here.

Thanks for all the good info gents! The videos are great, but this article is the kind of thing that I think will work for my audience. This one is good too, and is penned by someone who might know what he's talking about

+1 on Art of Manliness! (Just make sure your friends don't read the Art of Manliness article on growing a beard!!)

Even just getting them interested in using soap and a brush (even a cheap brush) might tip them in this direction.

All the best,
Michael.

+1 for me too. It's all of you guys and the great info you share that then keeps me coming back way more that I should.

Mantic's videos on YouTube is a very good starting point. Once you feel like you're up to it, come in here and ask away .

This is how I pretty much got started. First was the initial interest in trying to find something better than my M3 and electric shavers that always hurt my face. Then I looked up shaving on YouTube and found Mantics videos.
I invested in a starter razor (Parker) and the AOS starter pack. Total was around $55 all in all. I was hooked from then on.
I then stumbled upon several Forums for my new hobby and decided to join B&B to ask questions, get advice and buy other peoples stuff that they didn't want anymore! LOL
