Best Feel-Good News Stories of 2020

We need some good news stories for a change. Post them here. Here's mine:

David Ayres is 42 years old, a zamboni driver and practice goalie for the Toronto AHL team. He had a kidney removed 15 years ago, played junior hockey but never a NHL game. Due to injuries to the visiting team goalie and backup goalie, he is called out of the stands in the second period and gets his first NHL start, a win and a star of the game at 42. How great is he feeling today?

Interesting story. I read that he was available to both teams as a backup goalie. But seems he was playing against his hometown team? That makes the story even better.

Not only played against his home town team, but beat them. And still the home town fans gave him a rousing standing ovation. The joy in his voice and on his face is awesome.
