best cream for Eczema

I have been using Spectro eczema care cream for my psoriasis and my five year old's eczema. We find it to be the best OTC product available.

I have had moderate to severe eczema on my hands only going on 20 years now. I, like most, have tried almost everything available with the typical results. I was just given a new drug by my dermo 2 weeks ago as a trial after a particularly nasty breakout.

2 days later and I'm 100% and look and feel like a human again. The downside is that I'm sure I would become resistant over time and, after insurance and a $35.00 coupon it costs $380!!! I am going to stick with the samples for now but it works great.

As far as OTC I have had great success with the Body Shop Hemp cream. They make one specifically for hands which is why I was drawn to it. It smells a bit like hippie so I only use it at home but it is fantastic stuff and contains only natural ingredients and no SLS.

Good luck!

I have a small patch of eczema above my ear. I found that switching to shampoo bars containing shea butter has drastically reduced it! and using shea butter as a moisturizer after ward helps even more. However i have not been able to get rid of it completely but it is not nearly as bad as it was.
