Best Boar Upgrade to VDH

Hey guys, whats a worthy upgrade to the VDH. I'm specifically looking for a boar brush. I mainly face lather cream and occasionally soap. I want something with a noticeable difference that will make me say "WOW! So this is what I've been missing!" I've been looking into the Omega and Semogue but cant seem to figure out which I should get. Price isnt much of an issue, but the cheaper the better.

Semogue 1305 or 830. Direct comparisons between the two in this thread

Plan on getting one myself eventually unless my new Rooney 3/1 satisfies all my brush needs.

I can't comment on Omegas, but having had both a VDH and 2 Semogue boars, I can say that probably either Omega or Semogue will be a substantial upgrade.

Between the 830 and 1305, I would say go for the 830 if you mainly like creams. I like the 830 for creams better than the 1305, but the 830 is great all-round brush and is just as good with soaps as the 1305. I'm enjoying the 830 just a bit more than the 1305 right now, but both are very good boars.
