Ogallala is great, I really love the Limes and Peppercorns.

Royall Bay Rhum is I think a purer bay rum scent with the clove and all that.

Good rich bay scent, not too overpowering, good shot of alcohol and glycerine.
I haven't been playing with this stuff long, but it's one of the few products I've used to the bottom and replaced. Take that for whatever it's worth
And heck, it's convenient. Eight bucks and tax at Sallys Beauty, which is just a few doors down from Five Guys Burgers.

If you can find it, C.O. Bigelow is very nice. A little sweeter than most.
Ogallala is my favorite. It reasonably priced and the scent lasts a good long while. My wife finds it a tad overpowering when I first apply it, but that's what gives it its longevity.

"Best" is always a subjective term when it comes to scented items. Because of this, I can't recommend more highly than getting the Bay Rum Sampler from Barclay Crocker. $10 for 14 samples of Bay Rum AS and a sample of their Bay Rum ASB is pretty hard to beat, especially when the samples include most (if not all) of the available Bay Rum varieties.

I like the hybrid Rum/Lime combo. scents the best. Dominica gets my vote.
"Royall Bay Rum AS" is my favorite, followed by SCS "Bay Rum With A Twist" After Shave Milk.
Impossible question as everyone has different perceptions of scent. From my own experience clubman is not bay rum it's more a clove spice. Sta Lucia ain't bad but I agree Royall is a class act.
For me it's Royall followed by Master's. I'm not a fan of Clubman Bay Rum, smells too much like a cinnamon cookie for me.
