Beginners straight for honing

I bought two razors, a Dovo Inox and a Puma Special 88 5/8. For both it was advised here not to try honing them myself. So the Dovo is send to the honored Doc Alfredo. The Puma is still here.
I am ordering this stone:

4000 grid
6000-8000 grid the other side.

But....what would be a good "training" straight without spending too much money?

You can learn honing on the other razor I am sending you.

Use the shave ready edge doc sends you as the "control" edge. Try and hone whatever you can get to match it.
