What's new

Been at this a little while now...

Last night, used a 40's Super Speed with a Shark Super Stainless, lil' ol' Tweezerman brush and Old Spice soap...and yeah, I slapped on the Veg.

AD's have mostly subsided. Some topics here are repetitive. Got my technique and prep down awhile back, I think. Sometimes things seem a little routine.

But, day-am, that was a great shave. Still amazes me sometimes....shaving, enjoyable?

Oh, yeah.

Congrats on reaching that point where things are going so well.

I like your mention of the AD's having subsided, I wish you luck on them staying that way. Looks like you've been around long enough to realize that they have this habit of intruding in your life without warning. :001_tt2: :cursing:

How much stuff did you have to collect before your ADs subsided? My wife asks me this question daily, and I need to know what to tell her.

+1. I understand.

I to started getting good shaves all the time with my favorites. To me that became boring so I jumped to straights...

Now that you've got shaving at home down pat, it's time to start shaving out of the old steel pot! :wink2:
Been dere, done dat.

It'll calm down after the next purchase.

Seriously, I think PIFing stuff helped me realize that I had my share and then some.

Great post. I can relate having a very late 2006 arrival to these wonderful environs.... The initial discovery stage of wet shaving is amazing and the products and their sensory overload is beyond belief. Rarely do I have those intense situational experiences now years later but the "hobby" and the lifestyle that traditional shaving brings is still quite satisfying.
