Bay Rum cream, not soap?

The stuff not only smells great, but provides a lather every bit as luxurious as any of the better known European purveyors. But wouldn't ya know? Bay rum is one of my favorite scents, but it always seems to irritate my skin a little (with the exception of col. conk soap). But QED soap and now Olivia's bay rum cream gave a little bit of a burn. Not so bad that I couldn't finish the shave, but it was there.

My tub has been used three times. Does anyone have another scent of Olivia's cream in similar condition that he would want to swap? It's great cream... it's just bay rum oil doesn't agree with me
