barbering or hairdesign as a career

looking to either go into barbering which is a shorter program and only does mens hair or hair design which teaches both womens and mens hair. i dont have much interest in cutting womens hair but more job opportunity if you can. cut both. also hair design program they teach you way more as perming and few others as its a longer program.
more you know the better job prospect. you can work in salon or barbershop while if you only do barbering you can only work in barbershops
whats your thoughts? do hair design program even though i have no interest in womens hair and just do it or stick to mens hair only and do barbering

well if i was single still and on the prowl still then i would do hair design then more chances to meet women.both in school and during work after school but money wise i think doing womens hair pays better

do you think ill get stunned / treated poorly working in a female dominated industry? hopefully meet a single girl in class but i doubt it. most going be 20s and im too olld for them.
i dont have much interest doing womens hair but i heard its better to know how to do womens hair than not learn how to do it. would women clients kind prefer a women stylist also im a straight male .
any thoughts
