Barbasol Skin Conditioner as preshave?

Could you use it as a preshave? It contains lanolin which makes it the "skin conditioner" formula so I thought it would make a decent conditioner before you shave. Of course, an actual preshave would be better I know. But for 2 bucks, you can't beat the price

You're right about the price, and I'd use it as a skin conditioner. Don't know how it might be as a preshave, but give it a shot and let everyone know.
