Balisong sources

A few recent balisong trainers from Squid Industries and Deimos Knives.

The top model is the Squid Industries Mako V4.5 bottle opener, middle is the Squid Industries Squiddy B, and the bottom is the Deimos Cerberus V2.

I remember a better one I had with bone handles. Some guy pulled it on me in a pool hall, decided to be too fancy, and I took it off him, then my mate ruined his day with a cue.

I kept it until it was stolen out of my car.

There is literally no reason why a balisong is more dangerous than a flipper, or even a simple thumb stub. It is dumb. They are fun to play with, but impractical as a weapon, or even a edc knife.

"Impractical as a weapon."? I'm sure a lot of Filipino martial artists (and many on the receiving end in Batangas, Philippines for decades) would disagree. Fancy opening aren't needed, and the lock-up is failproof.

I agree that it's not more dangerous than another type of folder. All knives work the same. They're sharp and cut.
