Badgerized my Trafalgar T2

I originally bought my T2 for the handle. A $22 Simpson handle seemed like a good deal. But, I really enjoyed the brush and kept and used it for over a year.

Yesterday, I just needed a project, so I reknotted it with an Oumo Manchurian short knot. I think what I ended up with is pretty closed to a Duke 3 brush, which I’ve always wanted.

Handle height: 46mm
Loft: 47mm
Knot width: 23mm

I did polish off the paint, because the label is irrelevant now.

Nice! While I like the T2, I've got other synthetics I like more. Frankly I think the T1 would be better for me.

What was it like to remove the knot? I've never done that on any brush, but might follow your lead on the T2.

Drilling out a synthetic knot is a mess! I use a Drexel tool with grinding bits and then the sanding drums. Also pliers to pull off chunks of bristles. It makes a lot of white powder.

Pics of my trash can and primary bits.
