Does badger hair split as boar does after it has broken in over time?

I, too, am wondering what the general thoughts are on this.
My boars definitely split after a couple of good latherings, and one of my badgers (Vulfix 374 super) seems to have a couple of split hairs as well, although I haven't heard of anyone else noticing this...

I'm sure its possible but doubtfully the norm. Neither of my badgers have split and they are both well used. My wonderful boars on the other hand.
I think I recall an earlier thread on this topic. You might try a search. As I recall split ends on badger was caused by excessive heat and was a very bad thing. Maybe made it super scratchy?
