Bad Blue Heron or Bad Belted Kingfisher

Which is your favourite?

Kingfisher. But I like them both. BBHeron can be too turquoise for my taste, but I found that a little shaking fixes that. Have to keep these inks well mixed. It might take me a bit to empty out a couple vials, but I can send you samples of both.

I like Kingfisher because it is a bit darker.

I haven't used heron but the kingfisher is quickly becoming my favorite blue-black. Previously it had been Iroshizuku Tsuki-yo but the price and performance of kingfisher has it beat.

Kingfisher for the darker color. It's not quite as waterproof as the Heron, at least in my tests, but good enough. I'll use both until they're gone.

Kingfisher here as well. I think it's darker than Heron as well. It is my goto ink most of the time.

Bad Belted Kingfisher for me, also. Not only is it a cool bird, but the ink is exactly what I want and need in a bullet-proof dark blue (blue-black?).

Just from seeing the swabs I like the straight dark kingfisher of the bird over the grayish hue of the heron
