I'm not new to wet shaving, I always used a Gilette Mach 3 but since a few days I'm trying an DE. To start with something I ordered the Lord Premium, just for trying.
Of course there were some difficulties the first times but I think I can say now I can handle it pretty well. But... The results aren't very smooth. I know, my pre shaving can be improved and my technique probably too. But I asked my supplier about a good alternative for the (very) cheap Lord, he told me about the Mühle R89 or R106. According to him they are a bit heavier, more luxurious and the shaving head is ideally placed for a a good shaving.
I've seen the R89 and R106 only form pictures but they look pretty the same as the Lord Premium, the finishing of the material should be better but what are parameters for the different shaving experiences?
What angles and dimensions makes that a razor is aggressive or user friendly? And can a brand with curtain experiences be linked to specific parameters of the tools?
