I was monkeying around on the internet this morning and saw that within a Wikipedia article on shaving, there is a link to B&B.
Nothing world-changing, but I thought it was cool.

Phog Allen said:It may be cool but go to this link that I got from the same Wikpedia page. If I shaved like this guy I'd be a BLOODY mess. As you can see, even with his youthful skin, he's pretty red on the lower neck area. It's up to us geeks to save the shaving youth of America from this.

I'm still trying to figure that one out myself.Tye said:What's up with the dental floss?

I thought about it a bit more, and the video I saw had the string
held between the teeth, and twisted as the barber had done.
If you look at his hands closely, he is not rubbing or rolling the
string over the face. He has the ends of the string in each hand
and pulls apart slightly. It seems that by twisting the string first,
it has a tendency to remain twisted...by then seperating of the
two ends (and basicly making a "T" shape with the string) the
point where the strings intersect will trap fine hair. By moving his
hands slightly apart, he causes the string to twist more, and when
he closes the distance between his hands, the string twist relaxes.
It sounds wierd, and kinda hard to explain, but I think you'll get
the idea if you try it....It's basicly a manual epilator.
Does she happen to know if this technique has a universally accepted name?letterk said:My wife is familiar with this. She said it's a fairly common method that women use to remove hair from their face.
