Any chance B&B will ever be able to support iPhone/mobile notifications? If no, would B&B consider developing its own iOS app? I’m not a developer, but I’d contribute into a pot to fund it.

iPhone/mobile notifications is a iOS issue, not a B&B one. Apple is to blame for that one. Supposedly it is coming later in 2023 with an update to iOS 16.
As far as a B&B App, it’s been brought up over the years several times. Wasn’t in the plans back then but who knows what the future holds.

I think an app would still be better than the current web-based mobile setup. It would at least solve the problem of having a new browser tab open every time I click the B&B icon. Here’s what my browser tabs look like:
